Think there is no division amongst the religious? Check out the link below concerning the Ethiopian or Sephardic Jew, and the convert Azkenazi Jew. Color continues to play a part in the division even in the Holy land. One may think that there might be a bond simply because the belief system is the same (that's just me trying to give the benefit of the doubt). Ethiopians outraged over blood disposal Ethiopian communities respond with rage at Channel 2 report that revealed blood donated by Ethiopians is frozen and disposed of. 'There's no difference between my blood and the blood of someone else' says chairman of Ethiopian students union. Mada: 'These procedures are handed down by the Health Ministry, and are accepted all over the world'. "We fight and die in the army, go on to study, but that is not enough. It's inconceivable that a person comes to donate blood and is tricked into thinking that he is saving another life," says Gadi Yevrakan, a member of the Ethiopian community from Rehovot. "He sits, a needle enters his body, a considerable amount of blood is drawn from him, and yet the minute he turns his head they toss his blood to the garbage."
So if the procedures are accepted everywhere else, why is it that THESE donor's have their blood thrown away almost immediately after is it given? Why even ask for the blood to begin with. Why not just test them for what ever possible diseases they could have? Why even admit them into the 'country' if there was a Legitimate gripe as to there inhabitance is Israel? Think racisim doesn't exisit in the Holy land? Think again. Wonder why they treat these Jews as different, click here... and Here...

KM Racism is still alive and Kicking peopleWell, at first I just posted this article as a bulletin to share with you guys, just to see where everyone's thought processes might be concerning a topic like this. But someone suggested that I give this think 'more air play', so I will: Hopkins fraternity accused of racismBlack students protest mock lynching, language on Halloween party invitation Excerpt: Johns Hopkins University administrators suspended the Sigma Chi fraternity yesterday after a weekend "Halloween in the Hood" party that included a skeleton pirate dangling from a rope noose.
My question is this: How much of this can be considered appropriation, (if any) and in reality, is this a mocking of our own glamorization of 'Black on Black' crime? Black students on the campuses really being threatened? If and when there the decision is made, What kind of "punishment" would be appropriate? Enough is Enough...when do we start realizing that there is a 'power in an image', and when do we start changing that IMAGE?

KM Watchman...Caught Up In The RaptureMusic in the Background: Anita Baker, Caught Up In the Rapture : Caught up in the rapture of love Magic. Amazingly, that may be how many think about the return of the Messiah. That he will rapture us into heaven with him, and that to everyone else in the world, we will be seen as though some magic, has taken control of us. Magic. I had been given a few websites that would try and clarify what has been taught to most of us as to what exactly the scripture SAYS, concerning this topic. Of those my favorite two were from NCCI.org and from UCG.org. Is the doctrine of the Rapture Biblical? The doctrine of "The Rapture" is embraced by a large segment of Christians. But the term "Rapture" is not in the Bible. Nor is the idea of a "Rapture". The doctrine of a secret rapture is part of a very serious defection from Bible teaching known as dispensationalism or premillennialism. It is a deceptive set of doctrines that lead many into confusion. Job 7:9 As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more. Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Acts 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The L-rd said unto my L-rd, Sit thou on my right hand... The doctrine of this imaginary Rapture doesn't fit plain Bible teaching relative to the next appearance of Yahushua. Consider this: where will the Elohim take the believers during the seven year period? He cannot take them somewhere in space, or to another planet. Neither can He take them somewhere on earth in a secret hideaway, because Peter tells us that the universe will be totally destroyed when Elohim comes the next time. ll Peter 3:10 But the day of the L-rd will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. If Yahushua said said "They persecuted me, and they will also persecute you" (John 15:20), why do some believe they'll be raptured before the Time of Trouble? What does the Bible mean when it says Yahushua will come "as a thief"? In the context of this passage, Ha Massiach makes plain the fact that no one will know the exact timing of His coming . His warning, in light of that fact, is that believers should be constantly alert and spiritually prepared (Matthew 24:42, 44-51). If from what is stated in 1 Thessalonians 4:13 -18 (But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yahushua will YWHY bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Elohim , that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Elohim shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Elohim himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of YWHY and the dead in Massiach shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Elohim in the air: and so shall we ever be with Elohim. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.), is indeed the 'proof' that the rapture will take place then why does Acts 1:9-11 state: And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Excerpt from NCCI.org " The Messiah ascended to heaven from the Mount of Olives [and], he will return to the Mount of Olives. Where is the Mount of Olives? On earth! The Messiah is not returning halfway to earth to scoop up a bunch of people and then return with them to heaven! That’s ridiculous! He is returning to earth!! If, as Christianity would have you believe, the Messiah were returning halfway to earth to “rapture” believers, it would mean that there would have to be a THIRD advent, one for his birth, two for the rapture of believers and three for war. The event spoken of in 1st Thessalonians marks Yahshua’s second return or advent, and his return at the end of the Tribulation period, which marks two advents not three. Scripture does not support a third advent. Once again, remember what Yahushua said in John: 10-:35 “…the scripture CANNOT be broken”."
Another key question to address is "Where will Yahushua be?" After all, Paul tells us we will "always be with the Lord" after meeting Him (1 Thessalonians 4:17). An Old Testament prophet answers: "Behold, the day of the Elohim is coming ... And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives" (Zechariah 14:1, 4). Yahushua will not be in heaven after the second coming, but will be on earth—and so will the resurrected saints who meet Him. Finally, Yahushua taught His disciples in parables. In Matthew 13:24-30 He taught them about the kingdom by using an example from a farmer. He said that while a farmer slept, an enemy (the Devil) sowed tares in his wheat field. When this became evident the reapers (angels) requested permission to remove the tares. But the owner (who represents Elohim) said, "Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn." Jesus said the harvest is "the end of the world" (verse 39). The tares are the "sons of the evil one" (verse 38). That means that the wicked are to be gather up first. But the doctrine of the Rapture has the saints being gathered first. So...the doctrine of the rapture is a lie (magic) -- not a reality. It promises things the Bible has never mentioned. It offers a false hope, denies plain Bible teaching, and is contradictory to the New Testament teaching on the end of time. Reject it and accept only what you can read and understand from plain language in your own Bible.

KM The African that doesn't speak African! It never ceases to amaze me. People do not wish to give up the methodology of the things they have been taught. Even in the face of 'evidence' given to many, who for the sake of argument, are intelligent persons, some can not for the life of them accept when that evidence does not support the 'superior doctrine'. Let's see what I'm speaking of here. I am an African-American. I am also, for the sake of labeling, a Latina. But I don't speak any African Langauge or dialect, and rarely do I speak to my children in Spanish. Both are titles that have been given to me by the dominating society, and for the most part I really don't have issue with. I mean, I'm not mad. I'll take it because it matches what the bible says about the titles afforded me: Deuteronomy 28:37 Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people: 2 Chronicles 7:20 Prophetic African Description: 'Stay yourselves and wonder; cry out and cry; they are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink; (Isaiah 29:9). This prophetic verse epitomizes that state of the African/Edenic people. It is a wonder that a people that were so high have fallen so low and become a ' byword and a proverb' unto all the nations. The African/Edenic people of the earth have become drunken with the lies, deceptions, and misinterpretations of the Word of God, their history, heritage, and origin. They have entered into a ' deep sleep', a deep stat of ignorance, and cannot see their way out of their present crisis. The contractual environment of black Africans and their descendants has also been impeded by omitting their achievements from the pages of history and distorting their biblical existence through biblical literature and also through new Biblical translations. When it comes to brainwashing, it must be said that the slave masters and their assistants performed their task to the fullest. (Isaiah 29:9-14; 29:29). The amazing thing is, there are many other scriptures that, at least for me and many others that are finally coming to the knowledge, that describe a people who would have also fit the description of 'African'. : Lamentations 5:10 reads as thus... Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine. All persons of 'color' will turn pale from famine, not of dark complexion. Why is Abraham's father, Terah was a relative of a Cushite (Nimrod) Abraham was also from the Chaldean City of Ur, which was origianlly inhabited by Africans. Need more? Then let us ask why... Do so many paintings of Hebrews and of the Messiah in the period when they were under ROMAN Capivity show them in all of their 'Blackness'? Do the curses of the 26th chapter of Leviticus (ALL CURSES, not just some) apply to the black slave descendants of the America? Did the Arabs originally nickname the 'Blacks' that came into Western Sudan, 'Yahoodee', if they were not 'Jews'? After the Romans pillaged Jerusalem, the Hebrews fled into other countries in Africa. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Micah 5:7-8 And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver. ISRAEL, THE REMNANT OF JACOB, CANNOT BE IN ISRAEL.
Ethiopian: Jeremiah 13:23-25, - The words Ethiopian and Ethiopia are of Greek origin. The original name for Ethiopia is Cush. Cush is from the family line of Ham. Cush was the patriarch of all the Ethiopian tribes in Babylon, Arabia, India, and on the Nile River. (Jer. 13:23-25). I am Black and Beautiful: Song of Solomon is really called the Song of Songs, (or Sheer Ha Sheer-reem). I am Black and Beautiful. - This Shulamite woman (possibly the Queen of Sheba) states her blackness and that she is beautiful. The KJV among others here reflects an adversative ' but comley', despite the fact that the original Greek text uses a standard conjunction "and." This one of the few places in the Bible where color is an issue instead of culture. When she makes this statement, it is a pro-active response based on the standards reflecting noble human and personhood values. This could be the biblical "I'm Black and I'm proud" statement. (Song 1:5-6). Color Significance and Leprosy: Moses was born in the African region of Egypt as Hebrew and was a descendant of Abraham. While being in dialogue with G-d, Moses was shown an outstanding sign of G-d's power. By placing his hand in his bosom it became ' leprous as snow.' Then upon following the same produce the second time it ' turned again as his other flesh'. This other flesh without a doubt was black flesh, for leprosy had and outstanding effect upon the flesh of black people. The predominant and characteristic form of leprosy in the Old Testament is a white variety covering the entire body or a large part of its surface. Such were the cases of Moses, Miriam, and Gehazi (Exodus 4:6; Num. 12:10: 2 Kings 5:1, 27). This act of turning black flesh white and then back again was truly a miracle. (Exod 4:6). The Racial Pluralism of the Church at Antioch: According to Acts 11:26, the city of Antioch in Syria was the first place where the term 'Christians' was used. Prior to that, those in the Church of Jerusalem and the mission field were called either 'Nazoreans' or ' people of the way'. In this passage, we catch a glimpse of the racial and ethnic make-up of the religious leadership within the first 'Christian' church and it's remarkably diverse with full African participation. Two persons of Africa are included, namely Simeon who was called 'Niger' (a Latinism for 'the black man') and Lucius of Cyrene, which is in northern Libya. Only two others are mentioned. This would suggest that 50 percent of the prophets and teachers in the first 'Christian' Church were Africans and thus by modern legal standards, Blacks. (Acts 13:1). ____________________________________________________________________________ In the end of it all, one might ask, so what? Why does it matter. It matters for the same reason society has labeled me the Latina, that doesn't speak Spanish at home (regularly), and for the African-American, that doesn't speak African. If you can explain to me why I have been given these labels, and why I should walk in them with pride, then you will know why I am so adamant about expressing who I identify with in this book. I am the African that doesn't speak African.
Keep it movin' people... KM Christianity Originated in Africa
Ok, I know this is strictly a cut and paste job, but I just had to share it. This what I have been trying to prove the whole time: Christianity and how it originated in Africa long before it came to Europe, 4.9.06
Most Christians seem unaware that Africa was one of the earliest centres of Christianity. Of the astonishing facts that emerge from a study of history, is that Christianity, like Islam, is partly of African origin. Among those outstanding Africans who brought glory to the early church were Tertullian, Perpetua, St Cyprian, and the venerable St Augustine. In Ethiopia, Christianity became the state religion in about 330 AD – years before any state in Europe accepted the faith. Ethiopian coins and inscriptions illustrate the reality of this. The early coins of Emperor Ezana’s time show the crescent-and-disk emblem of the old deity they used to worship – Mahrem. The later coins issued after 330 AD show the Christian cross with the motto: ‘May the country be satisfied’ – the first coins in the world to carry this design. Arguably, the most outstanding African achievement driven by religious devotion, however, is the city of Lalibela. Beginning in the twelfth century, the Ethiopians built a city of churches that many writers describe as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Emperor Lalibela (c.1150-1220) was ultimately responsible for conceiving of the city that was to bear his name. His dream seems to have been the creation of a New Jerusalem in Ethiopia. The results are still there for all of us to see. In Lalibela, there is a ‘River Jordan’, also a ‘Calvary’, a ‘Mount of Transfiguration’, a church called ‘Golgotha’, and another called ‘Bethlehem’. Sir EA Wallis Budge was the English translator of the Kebra Negaste (i.e. The Glory of the Kings) and other important Ethiopian documents. Commenting on the architectural significance of the churches at Lalibela, he wrote that Ethiopia ‘contains the most remarkable churches in the world’. Moreover, they ‘certainly deserve to be reckoned with the Seven Wonders of the World,’ because: ‘All who have seen them marvel, not at their beauty, but at the mind of the man who conceived their design, and the colossal labour which was expended in their making.’ Another historian calls this construction programme ‘an achievement almost unparalleled in history.’ What was so extraordinary about this construction programme? Why has it stunned so many writers? What does it tell us about the potential of black people to achieve? The BBC gave a useful answer: ‘While in Europe churches rose to the sky, in the Horn of Africa they were gouged out of the ground.’ In other words, the 11 churches were all carved out of the rock of the mountains by hammer and chisel! One scholar suggested that: ‘The work demanded of the architect an astonishing degree of ability in visualising space and in envisaging plans.’ All the temples were carved to a depth of 11 metres or so below ground level. The largest and noblest is the House of the Redeemer – a staggering 33.7 metres long, 23.7 metres wide and 11.5 metres deep. It is entirely surrounded by a forest of columns, all carved and sculpted. Most astonishingly, the outer columns line up with the inner columns, a feat of mathematical and engineering precision. The House of the Redeemer is one of four churches that give the illusion of being freestanding, connected only by their bases to the rock from which they were carved. The other seven churches are almost hidden away. An Ethiopian tourist manual informs us that: ‘Physically prised from the rock on which they stand, these towering edifices seem superhuman in scale, workmanship, and concept. Some lie almost completely hidden in deep trenches, whilst others stand in open-quarried caves. A complex and bewildering labyrinth of tunnels and narrow passageways with offset crypts, grottoes, and galleries connects them all. Throughout this mysterious and wonderful settlement, priests and deacons go about their timeless business.’ The House of Mary is another of the freestanding churches. Emperor Lalibela considered it one of his favourites. The royal family used it to hold Mass. It is 15 metres long, 11 metres wide and 10 metres deep. The church has porches in front of its three entrances. In its courtyard is a deep square baptismal pool. Perhaps the most celebrated of the Lalibela churches, however, is the House of Saint George. One writer suggested that: ‘No description of this church could omit the word “elegant”.’ From the top of the monument, looking downwards, the church is in the shape of a concentric cross. It is more than 12 metres deep, and its outer wall seems to indicate four storeys. Internally, there is a dome over the sanctuary. The African architects seem to have absorbed or developed a wide range of styles. The House of Golgotha has pointed arch windows, with a tendrille-like tracery topped by a cross, similar to a Maltese cross. The House of Abba Libanos has plain pointed arch windows but also cross-shaped openings. The House of St Mascal has Romanesque arches and windows of twinned crosses. The House of Mary has swastika-shaped windows. This last fact should not cause alarm, however. The swastika has a long and ancient history well before being abused by the Germans in more recent times. In the 1520s Francisco Alvarez, a Portuguese friar, visited Ethiopia. In 1542 he published his report on the country. On his visit, the missionary witnessed the Ethiopian city of Lalibela. Clearly flabbergasted by their workmanship and ingenuity, Alvarez was worried that his fellow Portuguese citizens were not going to believe his account. He wrote: ‘I swear by God, in whose power I am, that all that is written is the truth, and there is much more than I have already written, and I have left it [out] that they may not tax me with its being falsehood.’ The most amazing thing here is that Lalibela is not the only place in Ethiopia to have such wonders. One modern scholar reports research that was conducted in the region in the early 1970s when: ‘Startling numbers of churches built in caves or partially or completely cut from the living rock were revealed not only in Tigre and Lalibela but as far south as Addis Ababa. Soon at least 1,500 were known. At least as many more probably await revelation to the outside world. A whole realm of architectural history awaits recording, study, and understanding.’ Robin Walker is a teacher and author of one of the best books ever written on African history: When We Ruled.
